Dry Needling

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a technique physical therapists use for the treatment of pain and movement impairments. The technique uses a “dry“needle, one without medication or injection, inserted through the skin into areas of the muscle, effectively alleviating impairment and functional limitation. Trigger point dry needling helps to stimulate tissue healing for chronic conditions so that the affected muscle can become strong and healthy again.

After my total knee replacement surgery, I was recommended to St. Mary’s. The staff here is just wonderful. They have all been very compassionate and caring… I can’t say it enough, St. Mary is nothing like other physical therapy places, and I should know because I’ve been to quite a few.

Michael Mitry

After a soccer injury, I needed surgery. Working in the ER I need to be on my feet, but the surgery left me on crutches for a month. After about 4 weeks at St. Mary’s Physical Therapy I was able to start running again. I would trust St. Mary Rehab to treat any one of my own family members.
